BARBOUR X ENGINEERED GARMENTS — Fall/Winter 2018

New York brand Engineered Garments, run by Daiki Suzuki and Angelo Urrutia have once again collaborated with a big named brand, British owned, waxed outerwear specialists ‘Barbour’. Although EG collaborations are often associated with footwear such as Vans and Dr Martens, the Barbour x Engineered Garments, collection stands out amongst some of their finest and most memorable yet. We get to see a mix of classic styles from Barbour and modern influences from around the world, including Japanese and Italian fashion from the designers of Engineered Garments.

The collection includes 5 outerwear silhouettes each being constructed with Barbour’s classic black waxed cotton and detailing in navy, black and olive to give each piece something to separate this collection from the rest. The collaboration has used influences from American sportswear, functional military clothing and work-wear to rework some of the most popular, classic silhouettes straight from the Barbour Archives. Expect classic styles with modern twists. One silhouette, The Dumbo, a mix between a bomber and a varsity jacket is sure to revamp the brand and put Barbour back on the map.

The limited collection is available from the 20th August, ready to go into this year’s Autumn/Winter in style.
